It is with great pleasure that the Board of Trustees announces that Professor Janine Griffiths-Baker has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Tir Dewi, effective July 1^st 2025.

Janine who was born and raised in rural Monmouthshire has previously served in senior executive roles in the charitable, non-profit and public sectors. In the charitable sector she has held leadership positions in which she cultivated excellent relationships with government agencies, key partners and stakeholders to further the interests of those organisations to ensure their success, which the Board is confident will serve Tir Dewi well in serving the farming community in Wales

Tir Dewi’s Chairman Peter Harlech Jones commented “I am delighted to welcome Professor Griffiths- Baker to join and lead the dedicated staff team and our wonderful volunteers to serve as the new CEO of Tir Dewi. Her wealth of experience and service in a broad sphere of organisations will provide strong leadership to our charity in this our tenth year and to secure continued success in the years to come”
